Nice looking - but the dash is kind of hacked up - the lower plinth is missing and the upper plinth is beat up by the choke; at least one of the knobs is not original, and the radio installation is a bit of a hack job.

Structurally it looks pretty good to my eye.

Pig with lipstick. Frame has been welded on to fix rust problems. I would not buy it for anymore that $2,500. Junk. Trying to get away from buying junk.

I have a hard time reading and determining sarcasm. Are you serious? Is this car that bad? Just trying to understand.

Maybe I was a bit harsh, but it needs a new frame. I hate seeing these guys trying to sell a car that has bad bones for big money. Plus, they don't know how to fold a top like Baws pointed out.

You do have to wonder about a lot of things given the marginal work on the frame. Body off and they didn?t cut the bad metal out of the frame and replace. Could?ve been done better.

Why the black trim around the wiper switch? What?s up the the triangular piece under the vent on the driver side? It looks to be digging under the vent? Why? No foot pedal rubbers.

I don?t think the glove box is screwed in. Missing the light

It?s the little things that make it seem like the completely cheaped out. Again what else can you NOT see??

The frame has been patched at the outer end of the tubes that mount the lower control arms. There's a patch poorly welded on the top of the same frame tubes and the T-shirt has some areas that look like non factory welds. Maybe the whole T-shirt was replaced.

Upon further inspection of the pictures, this is what I also see: no grill badge, no fender badge which should only be on the right side for a N.A. 1976 car, no rocker trim strips, rockers are not blacked out with Shultz, bolts on top crash pad are all wrong, no glovebox door catch strap, center console is not bolted in, no switch plinth light bar, no interior light switch, and wrong buttons on the doors for the tonneau cover. Not to mention, what is that pipe running behind the brake booster? You have to be kidding me. This is just stuff I see. It could go on and on.

And, last but not least, front side marker lenses are backwards. Good luck to the new owner.

But the fuel filter has been replaced, what more can you ask?

You know, you have a 50/50 shot at getting the wipers and lenses for the side lamps right and he got those wrong. Would this make you wonder how he did with say the brakes or universal joints? I can't believe the redlines aren't on the inside.

Damson, the pipe behind the brake booster is the route they chose for the tach cable. I noticed the bolt that goes though the the trunk floor and through the tub spacer, through the round tube frame rail under the trunk does not complete the journey. The underside of the trunk floor has a wierd crease. The clutch slave cylinder is mounted upside down and it has some washers spacing it closer to the clutch arm. There's a non factory ground wire attached to the frame next to the slave cylinder. The body wiring grommet for the side marker wiring on the DS engine bay wall was omitted. Those old redlined are severely dry rotted. I would not drive on them. You can see it on one rear wheel inside wall close up. There's duct tape holding the dust boots on the differential.
