  • Back with another TR6

After selling the Pimento Red 74 then finding a basket case blue 72 that I resurrected I was without one for quite a while but recently came across this rather nice clean 75, which is also Pimento Red but the interior was redone in a light tan rather than the original Chestnut per the trim code. Car is complete, aftermarket radio, runs and drives well, no rust, and included its original hardtop! Couldn't pass it up, price was right, so brought it home. Haven't had a chance to do anything with it as yet, dealing with a back injury but will get it up of jack stands soon and check out the brakes, exhaust, etc. all the lights work, starts easily, so it seems different bringing one home that isn't in boxes or in pieces and actually runs! Hi Ken. Found it here in Texas! So far all the TR6's I've been lucky enough to find have been within the state. Have looked at a few in OK and one TR4 in AR but passed on those ones. Looking forward to getting this one in shape for some fun this summer. Jeff

I think so as well! Was so happy to see the Pimento Red color code on the tag confirming the color, but a little disappointed the interior wasn't it's correct Chestnut, but the light tan looks good and is really good shape. May change it out later... love the Pimento red/Chestnut combination.

Got it cleaned up and it looks better now. Took a quick spin and the brakes are dragging, needs shocks, small exhaust leak. Won't be able to do much with it for a while, but it feels good to have another TR6!

Inside shot. Found this sticker on the hardtop, and find the car was well protected.

Never really left, just been without a TR6 for a little while. They do look good parked together, 10 years apart and two totally different machines, both fun in their own way. Feels good to have another TR6, even if I can't drive it yet or deal with the stuff that needs corrected at the moment, but I'll get to it soon enough!
