I have a CTEK. Good chargers. keeps my boat battery charged. Not sure about the test function (mine does not have one), but in general and my experience, CTEK makes a good charger.

I have 4 of them.....they are a little more expensive than other brands, but here in Germany very popular. They had very good reviews. I have several batteries hooked up over the winter and just let them sit. Can highly recommend.

The actual version is MXS 5.0 and MXS 5.0 Test&Charge. I have both of them in use. I used the test function once....so you might as well buy the one without this feature.

If batteries are not completely dead, then a brand name Battery Tender (maintainer) are great as well. I have both of our TR6s hooked up to these.

Got mine a few days ago. Been playing with it today, on the car now, charging my 4 year old battery in the TR.

Baws - I don't think you will go wrong with the CTEK. I had a no-name off brand unit when I first got the TR6 in 2012, and ruined an Optima battery (due I think to constant overcharging). The CTEK I got in 2014 is still going strong and has been no problem, because it's intelligent (meaning it will drop down to trickle charge and not constantly overcharge).
