  • Ratco 13" Stock Repro steering wheel

I know there was some mention on this a few weeks ago, but has anyone ordered and recieved one yet?
I ordered one about 2 weeks ago and was told it ship "from the manufacturer" and would take longer that the other items I ordered from Moss.
I wonder if Tony is making them on order so to speak?

I was asking about this recently too, I like that it bolts right up, saves the expense of a hub and uses the original horn parts. It sounds like Anthony got one and likes it:

I assume Ratco is making them as needed, not surprised it would ship directly from them. I emailed Ratco asking about making a dished version with the drilled spokes, like they do with their MG version, so it's closer to the style of the '69 wheels, but haven't gotten a response.

I ordered their hood release kit last week and got an email they were headed back from VTR in Oklahoma. I got an email saying it shipped but don’t have it yet. They may be a bit behind with the VTR trip

Bob was at VTR and I think the steering wheels are his product. He had some interesting stuff at VTR including an assortment of steering wheels, new tubular trailing arms for the TR250/6, and an EFI kit that they will have available around the first of the year to fit the TR250/6. I don't know how involved in these products Tony is, but there is cool stuff happening at RATCO.

I have had it for a couple of months and I like it better than any other I have tried. Being a direct bolt on to the original hub it does not put the wheel closer to your body. Yes it is a little more difficult to turn when parking but it really looks like the original and I like the thickness they have added.

No, not yet. I will let everyone know when it arrives.
I'm assuming there's a backlog of orders to be filled.

Thanks Dan, maybe Tony has been on vacation. When I talked to Moss about the backorder, the kid on the order desk said 4 to 12 weeks for "special order items".
