  • Inner axle yoke seal/cap

Missing a cap on one yoke, searched the usual places w/o success. Anyone know of a source?

Have you tried disc type core plugs (freeze plugs)?

I've tried various plugs and caps, ideally looking for something which will snap in place. A core plug inserted as you would in an engine block will leave splines exposed. I could always spot weld a disc in there but hoping for some input from a knowledgeable type with a better solution

I don't remember the size that you need but McMaster Carr has the type of cup plugs you need in 1/8 inch increments. They call them expansion plugs for castings.

The 1-5/8" plug from McMaster-Carr, part # 9563K158 fit nice and snug. Thanks ed h and old6er.

Good show! That's the disc type core plug I was suggesting.
