    With these engines so similar, I was surprised that the GT6 flywheel was so much lighter than for the TR6.

    Interesting, thanks Ed. Now, I suppose the obvious question is: would that flywheel work in a TR6?

      Good stuff, Ed. Thanks for posting. Those GT6's are getting rare and values are increasing. A very attractive design, too.

      poolboy rebuilt the Z-S Carbs. Philstr6 rebuilt both rear hubs.

        The same question occurred to me, Charlie. It's a different crank due to the stroke difference, but the rear ends sure look similar. I never had both engines apart at the same time to compare, though.
