Some time ago, I confessed my insanity on this forum. Today, the material evidence of that insanity arrived in my driveway, the 1962 TR 4 that I have named Sara.
Polly (TR 6) and I had been away for the weekend to attend her first show since restoration. She showed well, probably would have won Best of Class in a popular choice ballot, but I had entered her in a Judged class that competed all marques, all vintage. In that, she was the best example of the TR 6 as per the owners of the two other 6s in Judged.
I do not know if or how well Polly placed. The awards were presented at breakfast this morning. By the time the breakfast began, Polly and I were snarling and bellowing toward home to meet the sister, Sara. It was worth the delay. Polly knows that she looks nice, and here are a few more pictures of Sara:
