  • Day of Triumph Pics

Well, it was another day of BEAUTIFUL weather for this year's Day Of Triumph. Our own Al Gary served as Master of Ceremonies. Most of the usual suspects showed up, but attendance seemed slightly down from last year. (No Stags or sedans this year). But there were almost 30 Sixes and a good assortment of other models from TR2 to TR8. This first pic is the front end of the only TR2.

My plan was to work my way around the circle taking pics as the cars were organized from oldest (TR2) to latest (TR8). I took the wife with me (first time) and gave her the ballot and let her do all the voting as I thought she would enjoy participating. She did. (of course, she voted for all the guys in our caravan)

And that, my friends, is the last of the photos as the batteries in my camera gave out. There were also some 7's and 8's, a good selection of Spitfires (early and late), two GT6's, two bikes, and two "modifieds"....a Six and a race-prepared GT6. All in all a beautiful day.
