    HI everyone!
    Thought I'd better check in and say howdy. Slowly getting speech and motor skills back to pre-stroke levels.
    One good thing from all this is I've dropped about 12 pounds. Allot easier to put my socks on now!
    Garage is slowly getting there, will post new pics on the thread when I figure out how to download to the home computer.

      Good news! You are fortunate it wasn't a lot worse.
      My neighbor and wood-cutting buddy had a bad stroke and died. Three independent brain scans ordered by three different MD's concluded that alcohol had damaged his brain & caused the stroke.
      You are wise to abandon the booze.

                    Hi folks, long time no post. Been busy with the garage project and learning how to talk and write legibly again.
