Surrey Top/Backlight Colour Question

Well, let’s have some fun with a little poll. As some of you may know, I have an aftermarket SurreyTop/Backlight/Hardtop for my TR250 project that I’m currently working on.

The car is/will be painted in the Royal Blue that the car left the factory with. The hardtop section and backlight are finished currently on the interior and exterior surfaces in White.

The exterior will be painted Royal Blue. What colour should I paint the interior of the backlight and hardtop section? Oh, and if it matters, the Surrey Soft Top Section is Black Canvas.

I'm gonna say Royal Blue for the entire backlight frame, inside and out.
I say that because I think when the tops are off and you're just looking at the frame and backlight, two tone would not look that good... to me.
I can't say that I have an opinion about the underside of the hardtop section though

Would it make sense to paint it the same color as the interior panels? Otherwise I'd think a dark color would be less distracting in your rear view mirror.

The interior is black with white piping just as an FYI.

Thanks, couldn't remember if you'd mentioned that as part of your videos. I voted for the black Surrey interior

The white is (would be) a good contrast to the black trim. You could event cover the backlight with material

That does look nice, Todd. A lighter interior color gives the illusion of more space.
