      It's called the logical stopping point. That early point when the signs are things wont go well if you continue.

      As soon as I drop a wrench or a screw, or take 20 minutes to do an otherwise easy step, you have to recognize and shut it down.

      Troubles usually lie ahead if you continue and try to push through.
