  • Air Rail -Source?

    Howdy,

I have a hole in a couple of the elbows in my exhaust manifold air rail (1976) ....have repaired but am starting to think about a replacement..

I found the stainless ones on eBay for $300 ( nice but ...ouch )..

    ..any other sources?

    Thanks.

Do you still have the Air Pump installed? If not, how about just swapping to an earlier manifold?

    Cheers

Before shelling out for a new air rail or manifold, I would consider whether the air pump is operational and if you want (or if in CA for a 1976 car may need) to retain the appearance of originality. I have seen a posting on ebay for threaded plugs to seal the air rail ports.

California will require you to have the smog pump and all that goes with it,75 and below dont need to smog in calif,76 yes
you are going to have to spend the money to get your car smogged in california,or go to a referee because of cost
