  • TR250 Restoration Update (Photos)

    I know that quite a few of you follow me on YouTube, Facebook/Instagram but I thought I’d post here as well since I know some of you have no time for the Social Media Nonsense
    Here are some photos of where I’m at on my restoration. I hope to have it finished completely before the snow flies up here…I’m down to a 1 page punch list but these items seem to take longer to finish…

    Anyway, here are some photos. I’m pretty happy with the way it’s turning out. A couple of notes to go along with the photos;

    - Im hoping to bring the height of the rear end down some.
    - The hardtop will be painted Graphite Grey and will be colour matched to the wheel centres
    - I don’t like the black lug nuts and these will be swapped for chrome
    - I’ve ordered new front and rear stainless bumpers from Viet Nam…they should arrive this week.

    Cheers,
    Tush

        Congratulations and well done!! I believe that it is always an accomplishment when one of us completes a car. I read somewhere that only about 10 percent of all restorations get completed. After going through my own, I believe it.

                    I've been following the whole project on YouTube, so fun to see it together and in the home stretch. I hope you at least get some good shakedown runs before the snow flies, I'd love to see some video of that thing on the road.

                      It’s Royal Blue ( As close as I could get…it actually a Chrysler colour called Nightwatch Blue).

                      Cheers,

                        I might have to do the same, my 4A project is Royal Blue.
