  • Engine Update - On Stand, Getting Closer

Transferred from the cheap HF stand to the fun testing stand today. Just need to do final hookups and finish the carbs.
Also powder coated the rocker cover in wrinkle black.

My home-made stand from a previous build.

Slowly. I had the cases hydro-blasted and I now have the new jets, gasket sets, etc. Still waiting on new air horns though.

That is such a cool test stand! Is it strictly for TR engines or can it be modified for any engine?

Thanks Bobby, I pieced it together from the ground up strictly for TR6/TR250 engines. I suppose with slight modification, it could be adapted for many engines.

awesome pics and set up, Wolf. And who else noticed the lovely bastuck flywheel? I've been watching so much powernation lately, to see those big blocks on that dyno test stand.....maybe you'll advance to the 6pack dyno service for us... good luck on this project - is this the same motor that you started with a few years ago?

Thanks Guvna. Nope, this is a different engine. It goes to the TR250 project that's currently undergoing a nut & bolt F/O rotisserie restoration . Cheers.

Wolf.... what color is the car to go with the beautiful leather interior?
