  • Need help with Art Lipp's Steering column bushings!!!

    Guys/Gals--- I'm trying to install Art Lipp's steering column bushings but I can't get the "cancelling clip " off... Anybody know how it comes off??? any insight will be appreciated. Thanks Mud

    I just did this. pry it off with a flat head screw driver where it sticks out from the steering column to get it started. I can't remember if I used needle nose pliers after I got it started.....I have a pic but we can't add pictures for now.

      And even though I did this 4 weeks ago I can't remember how I put it back on. I think I squeezed it on with channel locks.

      Pro tip: don't move the wheels while you are doing this project

        skootch13 That was what I was looking for.. I was afraid I might break that clip by prying it. But if you have done it ---- I will too!!! BIG HELP THANKS Mud
