  • Spark plug color

Hello all, after a nice spirited ride on July 4th with a few friends that covered various types of roads here in Southern Tier of NY, thought I would pull my plugs and get some opinions. Engine details: 9.6:1 CR crank turned 0.010, cylinders bored 0.020, GP 2 cam, header, oil separator , point ignition, Champion N9YC @0.030 gap, dwell @ 32 degrees and vacuum @ 14-15 inches and running 93 octane fuel Pic # 4 is of cyl 1-3 and pic 6 is of cyl 4-6. Thanks in advance for your thoughts. John Mack

The plugs look OK to me following a spirited drive. If that's typically the way you have the opportunity to drive, keep the 9's in; if not check them again after your more typical circumstances.
