Electrical puzzle
Is anyone familiar with these headlight system components from an “upgraded” headlight found on my TR6? Left headlight shorts the fuse when plugged in and I’d like to find a schematic for this product to check the wiring who’s is obviously screwed up some where.

Looks like maybe a High Intensity Discharge (HID) type lighting system is all I think I know....'74 TR6 CF13007U aka "Mr. T"
Custom Blue (Delft-Like) and New Tan (Formerly Mallard and New Tan)
Points, Ballast Bypassed, Bosch Blue Coil, Moss Cobalt Wires, Champion RN12YC plugs.
Peaks and tweaks, but the spirit of Original
Redlines always.

I think I would try removing all the added wiring and reconstruct the original headlight set up for starters.

Looks like that is what they are from the pics on the site below; the square box appears to be a ballast. I agree with BAWS, go back to original's to start, then look at your options.Originally posted by tr6harris View Post
