  • TR250 Haz Sw

My TR 250 doesn't have working haz sw,but don't want to spend $200.00 for new one.
Is there a way to wire '74 TR6 haz sw to TR250 harness?
I tried many times, not successful.

How about this. Read the details, you have to do some filing to make it fit.

Have you tried to clean your haz switch? Unless you have broken or missing bits it just may work and is pretty easy. Just be careful, do not force anything and warm the plastic up with a hair dryer.

Before you order that one on ebay , you might want to find a wiring diagram.

Is the SNG Barratt a direct "drop-in" replacement with no tweaking of the original dashboard required? Or is it like the 72 switch, that requires a little filing for earlier dashes? Thanks

I didn't feel like paying Moss $200 for the correct switch in my '69, so I just got a DPDT toggle switch from my local surplus store and wired that in instead. Good to know there's a somewhat cheaper alternative.

I'm a little late to the party, but I just came upon this diagram I made for someone else if you still want to use the 74 switch.
