Sorry ,just checked back in here...TOAD club just shows up.....just bring a car , any old car...show up, have a beer or three! chat and eat is optional...lol.

Hello from Madisonville La. Do you guys have a monthly meet somewhere? I had a 75 TR6 in college in the late 80's and would love to just view one again........and maybe get re addicted. My current hobby is old air cooled VWs but I think it is time to move on. Any north shore meets?

Hi MURZ, welcome to the 6-Pack. Right now we have just the BMCNO monthly meeting in Abita Springs, at the Pub. The next meeting is August 25th. Our chapter here with the 6-Pack isn't very active.

I am in Slidell if you'd like to come look at a TR6.

Hook me up. Born and raised in New Orleans, now live in Montgomery, TX.

My first TR was a French blue one I used to run around in 1986-87 around Jefferson Parish.

Do a drive up around Pontchatoula when it is time to pick some strawberries, that might be fun. Then, head on over to Abita beer for a tasting and a tour of the beer factory, then a swamp tour, followed by a crawfish boil. OK, first event all planned out. Maybe follow that up with a Tulane or LSU baseball game.

The Bayou Chapter is dead. We tried to revive it but had no luck. If you want details it would have to be in a PM.....But I drive all over the places you mention, with the exception of my home town..Baton Rouge.
Best thing you can do if you want something organized is hook up with the BMCNO and their Acadiana group.
They are a fun bunch to be around.

Did I miss the funeral? Then we should have a proper burial....complete with a procession! And in true southern style we could have food and beverages

              Road trip, mon Amis?

It's a shame, really. The chapter chairman, Steve, said the chapter fell apart after Katrina. Most the members lost everything and moved away. I guess he lost his interest too, but I think he has become pretty active forming a new Mississippi chapter of the BMCNO. I have been contacted, by Steve and others, about looking into that new chapter. I just wish there was as much interest in reviving the old Bayou Chapter. It seems there are quite a few TR6s in this area.

                    Welcome, Mark.
If you see any signs of life from the Bayou Chapter, let us know.
I believe it just exist in name only, though.
You might be interested in the BMCNO..which is very much alive and well or the EMC headquartered in Jackson.

Click image for larger version Name: Views:	1 Size:	49.9 KB ID:	512991 I noticed in the last 6 Pack magazine that there is a new "Chapter Coordinator".....Ronnie Palmisano.
Anyone who's attended a British Motoring Club New Orleans (http://www.bmcno.org/) will probably know this guy..
If I had to describe Ronnie in just one word....."gregarious" I've never seen him not smiling and hardly ever without his camera, but I did find one picture of Ronnie (seated) where he must have passed the camera.
Ronnie, if you see this, Welcome and Thank You!

Hi Mark, and sorry I missed your post. I've been very busy lately. Welcome to the 6-Pack! I live in Slidell myself, and my oldest daughter lives in Ocean Springs. If you'd like to get involved with the BMCNO, also known as the "Big Meal Club", let me know and I can get you fixed up. PM me if you are interested.
