Obviously you do have mismatched throttle stop levers, but the short one will work if you do some adjusting of the float chamber vent valve transition...

Here's my picture....slot runs from 1 o'clock to 7 o'clock with the "big half" on the right hand (cockpit) side of the slot.

You can't just remove the distributor and stick it back in a more clockwise position....without reorienting the distributor drive gear.

Probably right about that..and there are float chambers without a hole in the bottom, but not a flat surface.
