I bought some of the expanding rubber plugs like Ed has shown at a hardware store, but I’ve never used them in an engine. Must have been a field repair...Last edited by UberXY; Yesterday, 05:59 PM.

Which reminds me: couldn’t the valve cover in a TR6 be vented to the air filter housing instead of to both carbs?

Yes it does. With the LED bulb I had to rev the engine to about 2300 rpms to get the light to go out and the charging system working.(which apparently...

Ok, thanks, found some in my box of bulbs. Now, does anyone have a clever idea for getting the thumb nuts back on the oil gauge without dropping them...

Incandescent Ignition Bulb?
Anyone know what the Moss part number is for the ignition warning light is fir a 73 TR6? Can’t quite narrow it down with the Moss search function....

Here is the one I used to race. I could have the engine out in 30 minutes working alone. Fun to drive as it had about 150 hp....

I’m definitely not a mechanic, but when I did the RG brackets and bushings, I set the toe and camber with parallel strings and a home made camber bracket...Last edited by UberXY; 01-09-2021, 04:15 PM.

Need a better oil pressure sensor.
